Mystery of Bibhuti

SALAGRAM SILA CREATED IN THE YEAR 1993

Srimaad Sarathi went to a place to grace a spiritual function. One of the devotees wanted to know about the origin of “Salagrama" during his conversation with Bhagaban Srimaad Sarathi. The beloved prabhujee narrated vividly the mythological story embedded behind the origin of 'Salagrama Sila'. All of a sudden Srimaad Sarathi stood up and was found in a restless mood, when the devotees came rushing at Him He forbade them to touch him. To everyone's surprise he vomited something in his palm which looked like semi liquid fats. He washed it in water and it took the shape of 'Salagram Sila'. Then He gave it to a deserving devotee and it is being worshiped now. Even Same thing again happened again and again in front of millions of devotees.

Mystery of Bibhuti.

The word BHASMA means “that by which our sins are destroyed and the Lord is remembered". ”Bha” implies Bhartsana (“to destroy”) and “sma” implies smaranam (“to remember”). The application of Bhasma therefore signifies destruction of the evil and remembrance of the divine. Bhasma is called Vibhuti (“glory”)as it gives glory to one who applies it and protection as it protects the wearer from ill health and evil, by purifying him or her. The ash we apply indicates that we should burn false identification with body and become free of the limitations of birth and death. It also reminds us that the body is perishable and shall one day be reduced to ashes. As death can come at any moment, this awareness must increase our drive to make the best use of time. This is not to be misconstrued as a morose reminder of death, but as a powerful pointer towards the fact that time and tide waits for none.
Bhasma is specially associated with Lord Shiva, who applies it all over his body. According to Hindu mythology Vibhuti or Bhasma is said to be favorite to Lord Shiva and that's why He is often called Vibhuti Bhushan (the one having ash as his ornament). Shiva devotees apply bhasma as a tripundra (the form of three lines). When applied with a red spot in the centre, the mark symbolises Shiva-Shakti (the unity of energy and matter that creates the entire seen and unseen universe).
Srimaad Sarathi brings Bibhuti from void. He who has deep love and firm faith in him gets 'Bibhuti' from his hand. Bibhuti comes to his hand when wished for. Bhagaban Srimaad Sarathi gives it to the deserving devotees as a rare thing. Devotees always cherish to get it. Many want it but a few get it.
Bhagaban Srimaad Sarathi draws marks of Bibhuti (ashes) on foreheads so that evils will not befall on his devotees. He that draws marks of Bibhuti (ashes) on his foreheads attends success in.
Honey Flows from Prabhu ji Pal
Honey flows from his palm when any devotee wishes for it. Flowing of honey from his palm provokes many thoughts.
The baby licks honey when, he born. Every mother in Indian family gives honey to the new born child before breast feeding. She wants her child's life to be as sweetest as honey. Keeping this great idea in mind every mother feeds her new born child with honey first. Similarly, whenever a person takes shelter at His Lotus feet, surrenders himself completely to Him, follows his path of truth, he gets a new life. The past dark days dies and laughs the color full bright future ahead. In other words he gets a new birth. Keeping this in view Bhagaban Srimmad Sarathi gives honey to his followers. He wants their lives to be as sweetest as honey.

Secondly, hands stand for activity. Hands perform all good and bad deeds. Flowing honey from His palm Srimmad Sarathi indicates that everybody's work should be full of Sweetest like honey.

Thirdly, people like to taste honey as it is very sweet. Similarly, one's work should be good and noble to deserve praise. Srimmad Sarathi indicates this by the flow of honey from his palm.

Fourthly, a honey bee collects honey from many flowers and makes a hive by dint of his hard labor or effort. People use the honey collected by the honey bees. It becomes the use of others. Srimmad Sarathi teaches the value of selfless service by flowing honey from his palm.

SALAGRAM SILA (IN THE YEAR 1993):
Srimaad Sarathi went to a place to grace a spiritual function. One of the devotees wanted to know about the origin of ‘Salagram” during his conversation with Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi. The beloved master narrated vividly the mythological story imbedded behind the origin of ‘Salagrama Sila’. All of a sudden Srimaad Sarathi stood up and was found in a restless mood, when the devotees came rushing at him and he forbade them to touch Him. To everyone’s surprise he took out something from his mouth in his palm which looked like semi liquid fats. He washed it in water and it took the shape of ‘Salagram Sila’. Then he gave it to a deserving devotee and it is being worshiped now.
SALAGRAMA SILA CAME OUT OF HIS THROAT:
The same thing also repeated in an annual function of the Ashram in the year 1996. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi was in his throne. The people present there were lost in devotional exhilaration. Suddenly he stood up and did not allow anyone to touch him, at that time. Thousand and Thousands of inquisitive eyes were fixed on him. Suddenly a Salagram Sila came out of his throat. He gave it to one of the orators there.

THE SHIVALINGA CAME TO HIS HAND
Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi is the ocean of Krupa (grace). Oozing with deep devotion if a man surrenders himself absolutely at his lotus feet, he is not at all deprived of his krupa. This was proved when Srimaad Sarathi handed a Shiva Lingam to a person. The person was aback when he saw ‘Siva Lingam’ came to his palm at his wish. Now he is leading his life with great material prosperity and happiness. This is not a denying fact that the grace of Srimaad Sarathi comes like this.

THE FLUTE CAME TO HIS HAND:
It was in the year 1999, untold number of people were present at Madhuraganda, a village in Kendrapara District with indescribable exhilaration to have an auspicious darshan of Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi, the adorable lord of their heart and soul. They were cheered and their clean joy knew no bounds when Srimaad Sarathi satisfied the cherished eyes with his august presence. A Vishnu temple was to be inaugurated on that day. The large crowd of people led Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi to the empty temple where he stood silence in prayer for 15 minutes. The atmosphere was cracking with the frequent sound of ‘Haribol’ and ‘Hula-Huli’ by the congregated devotees, men and women alike. To everybody’s utter astonishment a beautiful flute, made of pure silver appeared from nowhere in his new leaf like palm. The crowd of people shouted madly the glory of Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi, Who being pleased with the transparent devotion of the inhabitants of Madhuraganda, gave the flute to them to keep in the temple. The silver flute is now seen in the hands of the image of the deity, worshipped in that fane. This is not a fabricated story. It is a fact. Thousand eyes have witnessed this rare miracle of Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi.

SHARIR DEKH (See Your Body/Health)

The beloved lord Srimaad Sarathi usually gives some significant teachings which bears extensive and glaring intrinsic meaning. If one takes a little labour to drive deep into it, its meaning becomes obvious and a rare treasure of one awakening light in deep gloom of sorrow.Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi lays stress to look after at one’s body so that one can earn Dharma (Piety, Artha (money), Karma (desire), Moksha (salvation)). Body is the means of performing all sorts of Dharma (piety).

To make one’s after life joyous; one should do some good things during his life time. If one leaves the opportunity of doing virtuous deeds (punya) during his life time, the chance will never come after death again. God has given this mortal human body to make after life happy by doing good and virtuous deeds. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi makes us aware of the importance of human body by His wise discourse ‘Sharir Dekh’ (look after body). Again, the omnipotent and omnipresent God resides in everybody. So one should be compassionate and should not do any harm to anybody.

Now-a-days it is widely seen that people are fond of eating meat and drinking wine. Thousands and thousands of innocent animal scream their lives in the alter of desire of human beings. Eating of meat turns a man brutal. In order to elevate compassion in human beings for the poor animals Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi rightly says Sharir Dekh.
Without good health one can’t perform any piety. So good health is badly essential to be able to do all sorts of good work and piety. One should take care of one’s body to make it disease free. A sound mind resides in a sound body and a sound body can do all sorts of piety. Therefore, Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sharir Dekh’ to His devotees.

This human body which is the repository of several diseases is transitory in this world. Death will embrace everybody with its icy hand one day. One should not be infatuated with this mortal perishable body.  Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sharir Dekh’ in order to make one realize the transistorizes of this body and wants one to be refrained from deep infatuation with this mortal body.

There goes a proverb “Service to mankind is service to God”. In order to infuse this great idea in one’s mind, it is deduced that Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sharir Dekh’. After leaving old gross body, Atma (soul) travels to take another body. The body becomes useless and dull after the departure of the soul. Body dies but the soul never dies. Like discarding the worn out apparel, it discards the emaciated body and puts on a new one. Death is only transformation of the old body. In order to make one conscious about the mortality of the body of the living being Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wisely tells Sharir Dekh.
Childhood, youth and old age come to this body. At last the soul leaves the old body which we call death. Childhood is not permanent. It comes and goes. Youth is also not permanent. It exists after some periods. Old age also never stays long. Death steps slowly and silently. One should not brood on every stage of one’s life. The vigor of youth vanishes in old age. No one should lament over this. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wants us to understand this high philosophy of life for which, I think, He says ‘Sharir Dekh’.

Human body is the gift of god. It is sure to pass away one day. If one suffers from a disease, it becomes impossible on one’s part even to sit and stand without others help. So one should go on doing good and noble deeds as long as his mortal body is capable of doing something good. One should chant the holy names of God. The power of body and limbs will diminish day by day. One should go on serving to the poor and the sick as long as one is in good health. To revel and make us aware of this great concrete truth. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sharir Dekh’.

One always tries to enhance the beauty of one’s mortal body one uses various cosmetics and put on fine clothes to look attractive when one goes out. Forgetting the presence of the internal body, one serves this external body. The delicate body resides in this gross body that we can not see in our eyes. One is not aware of it and does not take care of it at all. One never decorates the delicate body like gross or external body. The delicate body that remains inside the gross body is not seen in bare eyes. This external body will die and mingle in the dust and soil. The immortal body that is delicate body makes a journey unseen to the heaven. If one decorates this delicate body, throwing aside all kind of hate- redness, malice, anger etc. one’s life attends spiritual perfection and achieves the ultimate goal of salvation.

Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi in his preaching ‘Sharir Dekh’ wants us to know the profound importance of our delicate body that resides inside the mortal body. This gross body looks beautiful outside but is ugly inside. It is stupidity to be infatuated with the outward short lived beauty of this mortal body. Wise are those who are conscious of the beauty of Atma (soul) than the beauty of this mortal form. In order to draw one’s attention and awareness towards the perpetual beauty of one’s soul Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wisely says ‘Sharir Dekh’. There remains another body known as ‘Bhava Sharira’. The Gopies got tie pleasure of unison with lord Krishna in this ‘Bhava Sharir’. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi also points out ‘Bhava Sharir’ when He says ‘Sharir Dekh’.
The physical beauty of a woman can even arrest the attention of great monks, and pave the path of their downfall. It is not wise to welcome downfall being infatuated and attracted with the charming beauty of woman’s mortal body. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi, tells Sharira Dekh with the aim to infuse knowledge that one should not invite sorrow being charmed and attracted with the physical beauty of a fair sex. This mortal human body is nothing but a universe in microcosm. If one advances in one’s ultimate voyage in order to realize the omniscience and almighty God, one feels and realizes the veracity and profundity of ‘Tattvas’ of the great universe immanent in one’s own body by ‘yoga’ for which Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi instructs His devotees ‘Sharira Dekh’.

There are three bodies in each human body. They are commonly known as the gross body, the astral body and the casual body. The gross body is full of Illusion, delusion and many errors. The astral body is full of knowledge, consciousness, super consciousness and cosmic consciousness. The casual body, which remains in our fontanel, is full of wisdom. It is the cause of everything. Atom point can only perceive the wisdom but not any five sense organs present in our body. The gross body is seen alive as god inhales. Breath remains in the space between the pituitary gland and the fontanel. Breath is everybody’s life. That is wisdom. Allurements are present in the gross body. It is good that everyone is generally very much attached to it. The gross body is useless without casual body. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wants us to realize this truth for which he aptly says ‘Sharira Dekh’.

SANSARA DEKH (See your World)

Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi invariably preaches something great for dispelling perplexity and brings benefit for the people who go to Him seeking His advice and blessing. His teachings always bear profound meaning. Sometimes it is beyond human prudence to perceive. A little sincere devotional speculation can uncover the wrapped meaning.

Light comes after darkness, birth comes after death and happiness comes after sorrow. Nothing is permanent in this world. All things shall pass away. Well and owes are the hide and seek game of this world. So one should not be drowned in the ocean of sorrow at the time of adversity in life and fly like a bird in the sky of happiness. Not being perturbed by temporal sorrows and pleasures one can verily qualify oneself to be a worthy passenger in the voyage of ultimate liberation.

In order to let the people known the abstract truth of the world (Sansar) Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’. So that people can consol themselves in sorrows and sufferings and will think that their sorrows and sufferings are sure to mingle or pass away in course of the passage of time. This world as described in literature is an ocean where human beings are fish and are always caught in the net of worldly tie. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi, I think in hitching ‘Sansar Dekh’ warns us not to fall in worldly tie. Swami Vivekananda says in his ‘Thoughts on Gita’ that “Nothing will hurt you. Marry, have children, nothing will hurt you but don’t do with the idea of mine.”

The world (Sansar) has universal dissolution. It never lasts for ever. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi tells Sansar Dekh to His devotees to know and realize the transit of this world (Sansar). The world is an illusion and a net of fascination. Own family pretend to be own so long as one is able to earn something and the moment one loses the power of earning, one’s own family turn a deaf ear. Own wife will stop serving with love and own sons, daughters and relatives will think as burden to them. Still one gets delusion in this illusive grove and fall in the charm of affection and nepotism in the world (sansar). One forgets the holy names of God. Hence Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi keenly wants to divert one’s mind from illusion and affix it in the lotus feet of god almighty. for which He says ‘Sansar Dekh’. One will realize the truth and will not be blind with worldly attachment.

The God is pervading everywhere and the world will lose its existence without Him. This world is God’s creation and will one day mingle with Him. To make the people know this concert truth Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’. This world is not our home. We are only guests in this world. We must go to our own abode one day. During our short stay in this world we are required to do something good for others. In His wise saying ‘Sansar Dekh’ Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wants to unfold the concealed meaning that we do not belong to this world and this world doesn’t belong to us.

Many kings and emperors ruled this world but they are no more today. We just commemorate their names but their mortal frames have mingled in the dust and soil of the burial ground, the palace the wealth and everything have remained behind. There is a wise saying, “Scriptures and crown, must tumble down”. Ravan did not take the golden Lanka when he breathed his last. In order to convey the idea to be proud less for some temporary gain and achievement in this world (sansar) Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sarir Dekh’. He intends that we should learn and understand this truth by observing this Sansar (world) and remain unattached.
Man finds little time to chant the holey names of God amidst great illusion of his family and he does not even fear to earn money by foul means for his family. When he grows old and weak he loses his power to earn something for his family as a result of which he no more deserves proper treatment as before. He is neglected and rebuked and eats his food like a dog outside the house. As he grows too weak He cannot gather strength to stand up and suffers from various diseases like cough and cold. His own sons, daughters and even his spouse for whom he had much love and sacrifice neglect him very much. Therefore, Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’ He wants us know the truth that all are selfish in this sansar (world).

The birds fly away when the tree bears no fruit and the swan never stays in a dryed up pond. The world is a big family. We are all sons and daughters of the god. We should know and understand it. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’ to make us understand this great idea and philosophy in it. All the objects like river, spring, mountain, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Sea, the flower, the fruit, the forest, are all creation of god and they are all beautiful. We should be greatly obliged to god for blessing us these things and be happy to have all these objects of nature. Hence, Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’. The creation of God is redolent and our life can be beautiful by His grace.

Man looks very small near the vastness and greatness of this world (sansar). Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘Sansar Dekh’ to destroy the ego and proud ness of human beings.

ISWAR DEKH (See your God)

The teachings of Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi are based on intricate truth of all scriptures and the Upanishads of our country. He teaches the methods of perceiving Brahma every where negating the concept of Maya. His teachings help numerous people to climb up the ladder of spirituality. He advises not to forget god in well and owes. God dwells in our heart. One must realize it and must not give pain to anybody because god also resides in him. How high the teaching of Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi is.

lswar is one of the names of Lord Shiva. He is always engrossed in thinking of Lord Rama. Thought mother Parvati is always with him, Lord Shiva is not at all disturbed at her presence. Bull, Lion, Peacock, Snake, Mouse live together without any enimity with each other in spite of different (contradictory) natures. The bull is not afraid of the Lion. The snake is not afraid of the peacock and the Mouse never fears the serpent. All are settled happily. Similarly, everyone should banish enimity from their minds and live peacefully in family. They should think the welfare and convenience of others. To make the people aware of this fact Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wisely says ‘lswar Dekh’.

Lord Shiva is known as the God of Viswasha’ and mother Parvati is believed as the goddess of Shradha’. Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi wants His people to keep Shradha’ (Love) and Viswasha’ (Faith) in God for which He advises ‘lswar Dekh’. Lord Siva (lswar) always chants the name of Lord Rama. In order to advise people to chant the name of Rama Bhagawan Srimaad Sarathi says ‘lswar Dekh’. Chanting of the name of Rama gives peace, happiness and fearlessness.

lswar (Lord Siva) gladly drank the deadly venom that came out of the sea by the power and influence of the name Rama. The sorrows and sufferings of the world are like poison; One should accept it and keep firm faith in the name of Rama. One can overcome all sorrows and sufferings by the power of Rama Nama. The sole aim of Bhagawan Srirnad Sarathi, as I think, to make people recite the name of Rama, for which he says lswar Dekh’.
